Today we watched as the 45th president of the United States was sworn in. We listened as he spoke about how he plans to improve our country. We listened as he spoke about unifying our country and all its peoples. And we listened as he spoke about ousting Washington insiders and restoring power to the people of our great nation. This letter is written to him.




We're fighting for our privacy and our civil rights. The last 15 years have seen an unprecedented expansion of surveillance, mostly via massive electronic monitoring. This has happened behind closed doors and without the consent of the American people. The intelligence agencies have repeatedly gone way beyond the scope of the already-questionably legal powers afforded to them and lied to (or at least mislead) congressional investigation panels.


Lynnfield, MA – November 21, 2016 – On November 21, 2016, Computer Scientist Steven Presser and Attorneys Michael Walsh and John Walsh filed a petition for review with the Supreme Court of the United States. The petition seeks to overturn an April 2016 decision of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court of Review (“FICOR”). The FICOR decision was only declassified on August 18, 2016.
